The Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo three-day event returns Feb. 19 – 21 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. Designed to educate and entertain the public about the world of pets, the expo will feature pet vendors, educational and entertaining performances, special attractions, a hands-on petting zoo, pet adoptions and shopping for pet lovers and their pets.
The event is expected to draw more than 10,000 attendees and pet owners can bring leashed dogs to the expo. More than 100 vendors and many area rescue groups with
adoptable pets will be present. Some of this year’s attractions include a rabbit agility demo, a flyball tournament, a dog variety act featuring tricks to Frisbee to acrobatics, a reptile show, feline agility, a disaster working dog demo, bomb detection dog demo and more.
“We have many wonderful talented pets and handlers again at our show this year, and Philly is one of our biggest pet expos,” said show organizer Karen Garetano of Family Pet Shows, which host the annual Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo. “Attendees can expect to learn, be entertained by pet talent acts, and meet and see animals they have never seen before. We strive to make our events family and pet friendly, and we highly endorse responsible pet ownership. The expo is also the perfect way for pet parents to shop and meet with vendors with new pet products in the market.”
