As more than 150,000 tech fiends and product lovers descend on Las Vegas this week for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the annual Consumer Technology Association-produced convention, the world awaits the announcements of the next and newest gadgets and gizmos. From beauty boosters to high-tech toys to the next wave of cars, here are some of our most coveted CES finds.

L’Oreal UV Patch

The beauty giant is getting a tech-savvy makeover thanks to their next little thing. The My UV Patch is a sticker that tracks your skin’s exposure to harmful UV rays. It contains a photosensitive blue dye, which changes color when exposed to ultraviolet light, allowing you to keep tabs on your skin’s health in real time. The patch will be available (for free!) this summer.

Volkswagen Budd-e Concept

The beloved microbus of Volkswagen’s past may just be the coolest concept car of the future. With a 373-mile electric range, gesture-controlled features and the ability to sync with every passenger’s tablet at once, the Budd-e is also designed to function as a home auxiliary power unit, communicating with a Smart Home or office setup. The concept car could go into production by the end of the decade.

Parrot Disco

Drones are without a doubt the top tech toy at CES. The Parrot DISCO is said to be the first “ready-to-fly” wing-shaped drone, and the first everyone can easily pilot. It’s a fast, smart, ultra-light drone with around 45 minutes of flight time. It’s especially perfect for new pilots: Just mount the wings to the body and throw it in the air. Available this year.

PetChatz Video Chat

Pets need gadget love too! This mini screen mounts to the wall so you can dial in and make contact with your cat or dog. And because your pet won’t get much out of that, there’s also a device that can dispense treats remotely or release a “soothing scent.” Available now.

Sensorwake Alarm Clock

If sound just isn’t waking you up in the morning, try scents. The Sensorwake awakens you with scents, including the smell of coffee, croissant, chocolate, peppermint, or even the smells of the seaside or jungle. 30-use changeable capsules let you mix up the scents as often as you’d like. As if the smell of coffee in the morning ever got old. Available in June.
