Zinpro Corporation announces that Daniel Hosch has joined the company as account manager – Iowa. In this position, he provides feed companies, nutritionists and producers in Iowa and surrounding areas with Zinpro Performance Minerals® sales support to encompass multiple species, including beef, dairy, equine, show and swine, among others.
“Dan brings both extensive animal nutrition experience and intensive on-farm animal production experience that will be a great help to our customers as they work to improve animal performance and wellness,” says Charles Gay, business manager – manufactured feed, Zinpro Corporation. “We are very pleased to have someone with his outstanding expertise and practical experience in animal production and animal nutrition to join our team.”
For five years prior to joining Zinpro, Hosch worked as a beef nutritionist for a regional feed company. His previous experience also includes working as a technical representative for a global animal health company, a field coordinator for a state cattlemen’s association, and as a partner in a farming operation with a 1,000-head capacity feedlot operation.
Hosch earned his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University with an emphasis on nutrition and production concepts. His work for Zinpro will be based from his home near Dubuque, Iowa.
